The Haig Park precinct of the East Perth redevelopment area forms a critical mixed use neighbourhood connecting the Claisebrook Inlet through major level changes up to the heritage cemetery on its southern boundary.
EPCΛD designed the public realm for this award winning project delivering a series of streets, back lanes and linear public spaces that have enabled this higher density river side community to establish successfully. The major spine of a narrow series of linked spaces provide a community focus of intimate spaces that spans extensive level changes.
The links through to the waterside are simple broad steps between buildings. As well as the public realm EPCΛD was commissioned by individual developers of residential units, commercial uses and the Chinese Consulate that now are integral elements of this vibrant community.
