EPCΛD were appointed early in the planning of the Jandakot City, this $1 billion commercial and industrial development is an integral part of Jandakot airport and is strategically positioned on the major road distribution network situated on the junction of two freeways – the Kwinana Freeway and Roe Highway. Jandakot City provides access to all parts of Western Australia while being approximately 15 minutes from both the Perth CBD and Fremantle.
EPCΛDs initial landscape planning provided the green structure that is in scale with the large format developments being implemented. Jandakot City is Perth’s newest master planned and fully serviced commercial / industrial precinct ready to accommodate large scale business requirements. Sites for individual commercial developments range from 1ha to 20ha.
The landscape approach was to create a strong streetscape that would be in scale with the very large building format. EPCΛD created design guidelines for the building frontages enabling a common quality standard to be achieved within the diverse development requirements.
Having established the overall landscape approach in planning, EPCΛD has continued to undertake the detailed design of numerous component parts of the development.
